A new school year means it’s time to put some familiar faces back on your feed!

We’re your RMS PTA - a fun, hardworking group of parents who love supporting our students, staff & school community. From school events & fundraisers to teacher appreciation & everything in between, we’re excited to be back for another great year!

Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re brand new to RMS, we’d love for you to get involved! Come say hi, join us at a meeting, volunteer when you can or simply help us spread the word!

📚🔐 INCOMING 6TH GRADERS — IT’S ALMOST LOCKER DAY! 🔐📚

Come get a head start on middle school and join us for Locker Day on Wednesday, August 19! ❤️🤍

⏰ Stop by anytime during either session:
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
or
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

📋 Class schedules will be available!
🔐 Find and practice opening your locker
👋🏻 Meet the staff
🏫 Tour the school and get familiar with where everything is

🍧 Plus, Primo’s Water Ice will be available in the APR (All Purpose Room)!

It’s the perfect chance to explore the building, ask questions, and feel a little more comfortable before the first day!

☀️ The RMS PTA is officially on Summer Break! ☀️

As another amazing school year comes to a close, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on everything we accomplished together during the 2025-2026 school year

Because of the incredible support of our families, staff & volunteers, the RMS PTA was able to:

❤️ Sponsor student events, splash parties, skating nights, book fairs & more
❤️ Provide 952 soft pretzels to students (even some gluten free!)
❤️ Celebrate our teachers & staff throughout the year
❤️ Provide refreshments at 3 dances + 3 end-of-year events

None of this would have been possible without the dedication, generosity & support of our RMS community. Thank you for helping us create memorable experiences for our students and show appreciation for our amazing staff all year long!

The PTA will be taking a short break over the summer and will return as we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year. During this time, responses to emails and messages may be delayed

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing & fun-filled summer! Thank you for another incredible year. We can't wait to see you in the fall! ❤️🤍

Congratulations RMS Class of 2026! ❤️🎓

As you close this chapter and prepare to begin an exciting new journey in high school, we want to congratulate each and every one of you on all you’ve accomplished during your time at RMS

As you move on to the next adventure, remember to be confident, be kind, work hard & never stop believing in yourselves. The future is bright and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve!

Today is the LAST DAY to submit permission slips for the 8th Grade Splash Party! 🌊

If your student plans to attend, their completed permission slip must be submitted by the end of today (link 🔗 in comments) We cannot accept verbal permission, emails, phone calls or last-minute forms at check-in

⚠️ No Slip = No Entry. NO EXCEPTIONS. ⚠️

To help students prepare for the event:
🍿 The pool snack bar will be open
🍉 The PTA will provide light snacks
❗ There is only one snack bar, and the snacks provided by the PTA are limited, so students should plan for food accordingly

🌦️ We are also keeping a close eye on the weather forecast. The event is currently scheduled as planned and we will notify families immediately if any changes become necessary

Thank you for helping us make this a safe, fun & memorable celebration for our 8th graders! 🏊🏻🛟

🚨 8th Grade Splash Party Reminder! 🚨

Permission slips are due tomorrow June 11 and must be submitted in advance for your student to attend

⚠️ No permission slip = No entry. NO EXCEPTIONS ⚠️

For the safety of all students and to help our volunteers prepare for the event, permission slips must be completed before the deadline. We cannot accept verbal permission, emails, phone calls or last-minute forms at check-in (🔗 link in the comments)

If your 8th grader plans to attend the Splash Party, please make sure their permission slip is submitted by the end of the day tomorrow!
