You're invited to our Same-Day Voter Registration Postcard Party on April 13th at 6PM at the Panera, 30 International Drive S Mount Olive Township, NJ 07828. We'll provide the postcards to our legislators!

The current deadline to register to vote in New Jersey is 21 days before an election. The registration deadline is an arbitrary, outdated rule that prevents eligible citizens from participating in the democratic process election after election.
A bill for Same-Day Voter Registration (A1966/S247) would address this problem by making it possible for citizens to securely register to vote and cast a ballot on the Same-Day, including on Election Day. In the 20 other states that already have Same-Day Voter Registration, they report higher voter turnout for young people and people of color.
That's why we're joining other supporters around the state to prepare handwritten postcards to our state lawmakers to encourage them to pass this important bill. We hope you can come!

There will be good conversation, snacks, and a chance to make sure expanding ballot access is a priority for NJ lawmakers in 2023.
