As we approach the end of the year, your generosity can make a meaningful difference for BVMI’s patients—and may offer tax advantages for you.

Gifts made by December 31, 2025 may qualify under more favorable tax rules, including higher deductions and the opportunity to avoid new limits beginning in 2026. Options such as gifts of appreciated stock, Donor-Advised Fund grants, or IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (for those age 70½ and older) may provide additional benefits.

Because of our donors, volunteers, funders, and advocates, compassionate, high-quality care remains accessible to neighbors who need it most. This year, your support helped more than 80 families and nearly 200 children receive holiday gifts.

When Linda came to BVMI, she was so sick she could no longer live on her own. Because of our volunteer medical team — and because donors like you chose to care — she received the treatment that helped her heal. Today, she’s back on her feet, working again, and reclaiming her independence.

Linda is one of nearly 1,000 patients who trust BVMI with their care every year. And she’s a reminder of how many people in our community still have nowhere else to turn.
