We have had some awesome campers and staff join us this summer. With being so busy, we are just now getting around to posting on facebook🥴

Last week was our finally week. With a dance party with our amazing GSIA and having our final polar plunge with our troop campers. Probably the coldest water of the year. It was amazing!

Last week we took a group out to Ant Island. They packed up their stuff and canoed out for a night of cooking your meal on a fire, pitching a tent and then everyone sneaking into the the counselors tent because it rained despite what the weather app said. It was so much fun!

It was the night before Julymas and all through the PC not a creature was staring, but maybe a mouse. A clean sock was hung on their door with care in hopes that the shigobee clause would soon be there.
The counselors waited on the stairs while the children were in bed, as visions of more lake time danced in their head. So much time playing dress up where everyone had to wear a cap. Everyone was definitely ready for a much needed nap.
When out in the backyard arose such a clatter. I spring out of the eagles nest to see what was the matter. Away from the backdoor that never closes. I can see something by the archery ring approaches.
With the moon high and bright I could see who it was. It reminded of the fun we had with lily pad yoga and spas. What is to be loose, but a 4 wheeler and a moose.
With a little old driver who's name was woodchuck, he told us shingobee clause was late, that she got stuck. She needed some help, so all the counselors came. One by one Honeysuckle called them by name.
"Now Sharkey, now Froggie, now Nut, Simmer, Miffy, and Pixie. On Bee, on Bubble, on Pink, Peachy, Quesadilla, and Chewe. To the top of Porkey's to the top of the wall, let's make the best Julymas of them all"

From rock climbing, to cookie decorating, and even outdoor first aid. Our campers did it all and had a blast doing it.

Camps not all hiking and canoeing, it can also be spa nights, inspiration mirrors, and dance parties. Our outdoor divas are having a blast and making memories that will last a lifetime.

We had a gold rush here at shigobee. There were gold nuggets everywhere, but the sheriff's, Bill and Steve, set laws that you could not break! If you broke them and got caught ...straight to jail! Which group got the most? It was so close, but between camp rino and camp cat, camp cat won with 1 gold nugget and recieved the gold rush trophie!
