A lot of people want to help someone who is grieving… but don’t know what to say.
The truth is: support is not always about having the perfect words.

Sometimes support looks like:
• Checking in consistently
• Listening without trying to “fix” them
• Sitting with them in silence
• Being patient with their healing process
• Simply reminding them they are not alone

Grief can feel isolating.
Your presence, compassion, and patience may mean more than you realize.
Sometimes just showing up matters most.

Send this to someone who wants to better support a grieving friend and save it as a reminder to lead with compassion.

22 young men were able to walk into prom with confidence this year because of your support. 💙

But the need hasn’t stopped. We still have young men reaching out, and we’re continuing to raise funds through our Suit Up & Step Forward Program to help as many as possible.

This initiative is about more than suits
it’s about confidence, mentorship, opportunity, and showing young men that their community believes in them.

If you’d like to support, please donate using the link in our bio. Every contribution helps us continue the mission.

Pause for a moment.
Take a deep breath.
Not everything has to be figured out today.

Some days feel heavy.
Some days feel exhausting emotionally and mentally.
But even on those days, the fact that you’re still trying means more than you realize.

Healing is not about being perfect.
It’s about continuing gently, even when things feel hard.
And that effort matters.

Save this for the days you need a reminder to slow down and breathe, and share it with someone who may need encouragement today.

New week. New beginning. New grace for yourself.

As this week starts, remember: you do not have to suppress your emotions to appear strong.
You are allowed to feel tired.
You are allowed to feel emotional.
You are allowed to grieve, rest, heal, and still keep moving forward.

Real strength is not pretending everything is okay, it’s giving yourself permission to be honest about what you feel while continuing to show up for yourself little by little.

This week, choose gentleness over pressure.
Choose healing over pretending.
Choose yourself.
No matter how this week begins, you do not have to carry it all perfectly.

Take a deep breath, step into this new week with grace, and save this as your reminder that your feelings are valid.

There are so many parts of healing that people rarely talk about.

The emotional exhaustion.
The physical heaviness.
The guilt that sometimes comes with moving forward.
The quiet progress no one else sees.

Healing is not about becoming who you were before the pain.
It’s about learning how to carry your experiences with compassion, patience, and grace.

And even if it doesn’t always feel like it, you are healing, One step at a time.

Save this for the days healing feels confusing and share it with someone who may need encouragement today.

Healing doesn’t always look the way people expect.
Sometimes it looks like resting, trying again, and choosing to keep going
Sometimes it’s quiet, Sometimes it’s messy, Sometimes it’s simply getting through the day and trying again tomorrow.

Real healing is not perfection, it’s giving yourself permission to keep going, even slowly And that still counts.

Save this for the days healing feels heavy and share it with someone who needs encouragement today.

Still on Last week events, we stepped out for a special Broadway experience together.

What made this moment meaningful wasn’t just the show, it was the connection, the laughter, the conversations, and the reminder that healing can also look like community, joy, and shared experiences.

At Broreavement, we believe moments like these matter. Creating safe spaces for men and boys to breathe, connect, and simply enjoy life together is part of the journey too.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day unforgettable.

🌊 BIG NEWS FROM BROREAVEMENT 🌊

BroReavement is proud to announce that we have been selected as a 2026 Step Into Swim Grant Recipient!

Thanks to this incredible opportunity from , we will be able to provide FREE healing-centered swim programming for men and boys in our community through our Swim & Healing Program at the .

This initiative is about more than learning how to swim. It’s about: 💙 Building confidence
💙 Overcoming fear
💙 Creating safe spaces for healing
💙 Teaching lifesaving water safety skills
💙 Strengthening brotherhood and emotional wellness

Many men and boys of color have historically lacked access to swim education and water safety opportunities. Through this program, we are working to change that—one session, one family, and one breakthrough at a time.

We are deeply grateful to Step Into Swim for believing in our vision and helping us create safer swimmers and stronger communities.

As Mental Health Awareness Week begins, this is your reminder that not every day will feel easy and you don’t have to pretend otherwise.

Some days feel heavier emotionally, Some days require more rest, more grace, and more patience with yourself. And that does not make you weak.

Your mental health matters.
Your feelings matter.
And you deserve support, even on the difficult days.
You don’t have to carry everything silently.

Take a moment to check in with yourself today and share this with someone who may need encouragement.
