Getting the honey ready for the market Downtown Sykesville Farmers Market this Sunday. Pulling honey frames on Thursday, processing on Friday (decap the honey, send it through a mesh stainer to remove the bits of wax, into a honey bucket, and into a honey jar). Fresh and ready to go!

We loved hosting I AM MENtality Youth Male Empowerment Project for a full day of learning, nature, and adventure at Piedmont Learning Center 🌿 From hiking and birding with Ranger Bri, to honey tasting, creative projects with Fidel Carey Realmo, this was a day rooted in nature, growth, and meaningful experiences.

Despite the cold, the 5th graders from Commodore John Rogers Elementary School had an unforgettable day of hands-on learning at Piedmont Learning Center. ❄️🌿

From sound healing and birding to honey extraction, pollinator education, and s’mores by the fire, students explored, created, and connected with nature in so many meaningful ways. 🐦‍⬛🍯🪵
