A quick reminder regarding our U.P. Pink Power “Pay It Forward” requests!

To help us review requests fairly and follow our guidelines, we must receive:

• A completed Pay It Forward application
• A copy of a driver’s license OR proof of Upper Peninsula residency
• If applicable, a doctor’s note confirming diagnosis/treatment

Unfortunately, we are unable to process requests until all required documentation is submitted. These guidelines help us ensure we are supporting eligible Yoopers in need while remaining consistent and accountable as a 501(c)(3) organization.

We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to help as many Yoopers as possible. 💕

Today we want to send a huge thank you to Gina Olson as she wraps up her time volunteering with UP Pink Power!

Gina has been such a meaningful part of our organization, generously giving her time, heart, and energy to help us support so many Yoopers in need over the past few years. Her willingness to jump in wherever needed was always appreciated.

While we are sad to see her step away from UP Pink Power, we are incredibly proud of where her heart is leading her next. Gina will now be directing her energy toward Camp Star, a grief counseling camp supporting children ages 8-18 as they navigate loss and healing. We know those kids and families will be so lucky to have her.

Please join us in thanking Gina for everything she has done for UP Pink Power and wishing her all the best in this next chapter. 💗

UP Pink Power is extremely honored and excited to introduce our newest Board Member, Josh Bolduc!

A lifelong resident of Marquette, Michigan, Joshua Bolduc has built a career defined by dedication, service, and technical expertise. After graduating from Marquette High School in 1992, Josh honorably served in the U.S. Navy for four years. During his service, he spent significant time deployed aboard the USS Vicksburg CG-69, where he honed the discipline and work ethic that would characterize his professional life.

Upon returning to civilian life, Josh transitioned into the construction industry and has been a proud, long-standing member of the MRCC Local 1510 since 1997. Currently, he serves as a Journeyman Carpenter at Gundlach Champion, applying decades of hands-on experience to construction projects across the region.

Josh’s personal life is rooted in deep connections and a commitment to honoring the legacy of those he loves. For fourteen years, he shared a profound partnership with his late wife, Dana Lynn Bolduc, his soulmate. Dana, a Nurse Practitioner, was a devoted supporter of UP Pink Power and was beloved for her kind-hearted nature, intelligence, and vibrant spirit. Following her passing from cancer on May 21, 2024, Josh has dedicated himself to preserving her memory; his active involvement in UP Pink Power serves as a meaningful way to carry on her legacy.

Family remains the cornerstone of Josh’s life; he is especially proud of his role as "Grandpa Josh" to his daughter Ashley’s children, Wesley and Harliegh. He finds peace and joy at his home on Noren Lake, where he enjoys sunsets, bonfires, pontoon rides, and walks with his dogs. An avid music lover, Josh frequently travels throughout the county and across the country to attend live performances with his best friend, Crystal.

Please help us in welcoming Josh to the UP Pink Power Board! 👏🏼

Now that the pavement has cooled down from all the walkers and the aches & pains have set in…we would like to recognize and send heartfelt thanks to our top pledge earners. These gals worked overtime to raise money that allows us to pay it forward all year long. If we can get a big “whooooohoooo” and “thank you” to our top earners, who collectively raised over $11,300: 💕 Riley Hare, Elizabeth Branstrom, Julie Delaire, Jena Priebe, Carolyn Caron Reynolds and Jen Hantz. We can’t thank you enough for your support and contributions to make this year a huge success. 💓

Safe to say… we’re all a little sore today. 💗

But WOW, what a day.

Because of this amazing community, we had 440 walkers hit the road and raised an incredible $63,258 to support those in need.

Whether you walked, volunteered, donated, cheered us on, or helped behind the scenes… YOU made this happen.

Today is for recovery… and for soaking in just how special this community is. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💕

If we owe you a call for anything (clothing, pledge rewards, etc) please give UP Pink Power members a bit to get ahold of you. We’re also recovering! 😉
