I’ve been spending some time at the Gruver City Library helping process old books and get ready for Summer Story Time! 📚

Story Time starts Tuesdays at 10:00 AM, and I’ll be helping with Story Time on June 30th. We’ll have a Ripple Effect craft activity about spreading kindness and showing how small acts can make a big difference.

I hope you’ll come read, create, and make waves with us this summer!

Last, but not least, our fourth Main Street Point is Economic Vitality! Jose Jaurrgui is our EV committee Chair.

Economic Vitality is at the core of a Main Street community. It involves taking a proactive, collaborative approach to building and growing a diverse economic base through smart new investment, cultivating a robust ecosystem for small businesses, focusing on the unique assets of our community, and fostering equity and inclusion to create an environment to help build local wealth.

EV committee host Career Focus, Be Your Own Boss, Mystery Shopper program, and recognizes Social Media Stars. This committee is looking at offering educational classes to businesses and also a new community event.

EV meets the 2nd Monday each month at noon at the Main Street office and always welcomes new volunteers.
