Since 1979, Guymon Community Theatre has been a home for artistic expression in the Oklahoma Panhandle, bringing ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ญ ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐โ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ดโ๐๐ผ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐. Now, through a historic renovation in partnership with the Nash Foundation, the theatre is working to restore its auditorium, stage, and marquee while creating a safer, more accessible experience for performers and audiences.
Updated, state-of-the-art lighting and sound will help ensure that more community members can enjoy live theatre, including individuals who are ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ณ ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ, ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฝ๐ต๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐.

Guymon Community Theatre works to make artistic expression accessible regardless of socioeconomic background, allowing performers to participate without registration fees and encouraging involvement from ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป, ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐, ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐น๐๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ. Productions create opportunities both onstage and behind the scenesโoften bringing entire families together.
The theatre also strives to reflect and include the diverse communities of the Oklahoma Panhandle, creating opportunities for people of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities to experience and participate in the arts.
