Clayton Ridge Dollars for Scholars is proud to be participating in the Great Give Day. Great Give Day is a community-wide event to show off Eastern Iowa's spirit of giving, raise awareness about local non-profits, and celebrate the collective effort it takes to make our region great. Clayton Ridge DFS is one of 150 non-profits taking part in this event. There is an incentive if we raise $300 of another $250 donation, so you can leverage your giving by taking part in the Great Give Day. Go to GreatGiveDay.org to donate. Big Changes to Scholarship Requirements!!
Clayton Ridge Dollars for Scholars (DFS) board is pleased to announce changes to the scholarship awards for Clayton Ridge graduates. At our December board meeting, DFS board members approved a change to the scholarship guidelines starting with 2023 graduates. The changes removed the requirement for full time status and now any graduate from Clayton Ridge who pursues post-secondary education can apply for the scholarship including students who are enrolled part-time, in a trade school or certification program. The requirement remains to maintain a 2.0 GPA for the first semester. The deadline for applications and transcripts is January 1, 2024. You can find the scholarship form on the Clayton Ridge DFS website at claytonridge.dollarsforscholars.org under the Students & Parents Tab. The form along with your first semester transcripts should be returned by email to [email protected] or mail to PO Box 83 Guttenberg, IA 50252. If you have any questions or your current classes are not complete yet, please email us with a description of your situation.
