Another heartwarming adoption story for your Saturday! Sweet little man Buster was dumped rurally and we couldn’t figure out why someone would let go of this tiny precious man, who was so sweet and affectionate, a story that has sadly become all too common these days. We wanted to find this sweet boy a loving home for his senior years, and we knew just who to call! One of our amazing board members, Lori, has adopted multiple senior dogs from us and we knew she needed this tiny guy in her life! He has settled in perfectly and has a special bond with her husband, even winning over some of the cranky senior Chihuahua gals in the home, too! We are so thankful for Lori and her husband and their big hearts 🥰 and we know this sweet boy will be beyond loved and spoiled!

Sweet Mango found her forever home 💖 she was the last kitty from our rainy day dump of 13 cats that happened in July of 2024 waiting on a home of her own. She was understandably a shy girl who didn’t always trust humans, but thanks to her foster Mom, Baylee, she learned how amazing it was to live in a home! Mango found an amazing home with an amazing family that has tons of experience with shy kitties and was ready to let Mango adjust and settle in on her own time, exactly what she needed! Now, she’s found her forever place in the world. We couldn’t be happier for her!

Little (now big) Illyria was adopted! She is one of Cordelia’s puppies, and the first to be officially adopted by her foster-to-adopt Mom & Dad 🥰 It was such a treat to see her again and see how much she’s grown, she is no doubt on track to be a big girl, and we are so thankful she’s found her forever home! Mom and Dad report she is a fun little ball of energy and snuggles. We couldn’t be happier for this girl!

Hey! It’s me! Buffy! Did you guys know ALL of my siblings have potential adopters, but no one has applied for me?! I don’t know why no one has picked me yet! I was born on 1/2/26 and I’m all s***k and sweetness! My friends here at Free to Live thought maybe we could find my forever home by having you all guess my breed! They did this weird swabby thing in my mouth (it did NOT taste like a treat!) and said the results would tell them what makes up my DNA! Kinda weird cause I already know I’m 100% perfect, but I guess you guys can guess anyways! They said they’ll give the winner a free T-shirt too! Don’t forget, put each % of your guess to be eligible to win! They’ll reveal my breeds on Sunday!

In the meantime, can you guys share so I can find my forever home too?! I really hate to think of all my siblings getting adopted and leaving me behind, but my friends here at FTL said they know my family out there! 🩵

Last up is Austin (birthdate 1/12/26)! This gorgeous panther entered the world with his four other siblings when his mom walked off the street and into a home just days before a blizzard. They were born safe and warm and were soon brought into our foster program.

Austin and his one white whisker are a lovable, funny pair. This guy is playful to the max and often brings his foster mom toys so she’ll play with him. Austin likes to cuddle, especially on a warm lap or sitting behind you while you’re working from home. He’s just an all around sweet guy!

Next today is Memphis (birthdate 1/12/26)! This s***ky girl is large and in charge (seriously, she’s keeping up with the boys in terms of weight and size) and loves to be in the middle of all the action. Memphis is an independent lady who has no trouble telling everyone and anyone when she’s got an opinion of something. She’s a very talkative tortie! Memphis isn’t a huge cuddler, but she’s a big fan of joining the family in the couch for movie time, or taking a sneaky midday nap with someone on the weekend.

First up today is Phoenix (birthdate 1/12/26)! Phoenix is an absolute burst of color and energy. This big boy takes everything at full gallop. Play? He’s first to the toy. Food? He leaps into the bowl. Sleep? He’s top of the nap pile! Though he may be orange, Phoenix does have regular access to the brain cell and uses it liberally.

Phoenix is good with adults, kids, dogs and other cats. He’s a cuddle bug who absolutely needs a friendly cat (or another kitten) in his forever home. He loves a good snuggle with his people, but he’s also got an independent side.
