There is power in the presence of a horse. ❤️🐎

October is , a month dedicated to celebrating the profound bond between horses and human mental health.

For our volunteers, time spent at Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation is a safe spot for a little equine therapy. Grooming, bonding, connecting, and even fun things like adding beautiful flowers into braided manes and tails isn't just a fun activity, it’s a grounding practice that lowers stress and heals the heart.

Over the weekend, Gustavo was spoiled and loved every second of the attention! Gentle moments like these help our rescue horses feel safe, valued, and ready for a loving family and we are so thankful for our awesome volunteers helping!

🌸 Every braid tells a story. Help us write the next chapter of Gustavo's story by sharing this post, or share your own braid!
