A huge thank you to our amazing Beautification Ladies, the U.S. Sunbeams 4-H Club and the Guthrie Center Volunteer Fire Department Wives for helping bring so much color and beauty to downtown. Your hard work helps make our community shine! 💐

✨ Celebrating 40 Years of Main Street Iowa! ✨
Main Street Guthrie Center was honored to attend the Main Street Iowa Awards Ceremony and 40th Anniversary celebration! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with communities across the state and celebrate the impact Main Street programs continue to have on Iowa’s downtowns.
We’re proud to be part of this amazing network and excited for the future of downtown Guthrie Center! 🎉

✨ Progress Update for 312 State Street! ✨

Remember the exciting Challenge Grant we shared back in November? We’re happy to report — progress is underway! 🙌

We snuck in for a quick peek, and things are looking great! 👀 A brand-new roof is on, and fresh new floors are going in. Step by step, this space is really starting to come together.

This project is just one step forward in the investment in our downtown, and we’re so excited to see it take shape!

What an incredible couple of days for Guthrie Center! 💛

Thank you to everyone who attended the community input session, took time to review the data, and shared your ideas—your voice is what makes this work meaningful and impactful. We were also grateful to spend time the following morning with Brooke from Main Street Iowa, working alongside the Main Street Guthrie Center board to turn your input into clear priorities and goals for our community.

This is just the beginning, and we’re excited about the direction ahead—stay tuned as we roll out a strategic plan that reflects what you want to see for Guthrie Center in the years to come! ✨
