Since 1973, Gurnee Days has provided the Village of Gurnee with a fun, family-oriented weekend of music, delicious food, bounce houses for children, car show, petting zoo and pony rides, as well as amazing fireworks and a parade! This year Gurnee Days is celebrating under the theme “Life's a Zoo in 2022!”

Gurnee Days brings our entire community together to celebrate the best of what Gurnee has to

offer; excellent schools, award winning park district and library, a world-class amusement park, a variety of unique stores and citizens dedicated to making Gurnee a great place to live, work, and visit!

The Gurnee Days Committee is proud to announce Gurnee resident, Gale Graves, as the 2026 Gurnee Days Honoree!

Gale’s dedication and positive influence on the Gurnee community will be honored at the Gurnee Days annual testimonial reception on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Warren Township Center. On Friday, August 7, a meet and greet with Gale will take place at 7 p.m. Additionally, Gale will serve as the Grand Marshal of the Gurnee Days parade on Saturday, August 8.
