Your Gurdon Fire Dept. provided mutual aide to Curtis Fire department in the late hours of Tuesday night on a very rural structure fire.

Via Curtis Chief Adair we see the importance of closed doors. While the room behind the door is at much loss, the house that’s behind the camera is at zero loss other than smoke damage.

Excellent response times and quick knockdown tactics saved a home last night from being a total loss. 🫡🤝

A closer look at the logo on E2 shows what Batson Signs in Arkadelphia can do with just a quick sketch on some cardboard.

We wanted to shed light on the eerie tale of the light that Gurdon is widely known for, and add our own unique fire service spin on it.

Be on the lookout for our new rig as we continue to outfit it for fire service with its 1000 gallon tank and multi use capabilities.
Engine 2 is the new light of Gurdon FD.

Gurdon fire department along with multiple dozers with the Arkansas Forestry commission are currently working to contain a large woods fire between kansas road and redsprings rd. Smoke will be observed for the remaining part of today, and into tomorrow.
