This is who we are.

This is such a thoughtful example of a personal passion meeting a need close to home. We are so grateful for those who look for ways to care for our neighbors and support the patients and families right here in our community. The Pink Pumpkin Run is officially SOLD OUT, and we can hardly wait to see our community come together for such a meaningful day! But before race day arrives, we have a team we just have to celebrate!

Meet Dolly’s Pumpkins, a team made up of members of our very own Marshall Cancer Care Center staff who have already raised more than $400 through their pledge page! 👏🏼

These are the people who show up for patients every single day. They care for them, encourage them, walk alongside them through some of life’s hardest moments, and remind them they aren't alone. And now, they're going a step further by raising funds to make an even greater impact.

🎃 WE ARE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! 🎃

The 17th Annual Pink Pumpkin Run is officially at capacity, and it’s all because of YOU! 💗

Thank you for being a community that continues to show up in such a big way. When we look at each of the 1,300 registrations, we see more than runners and casual strollers. We see people who believe in making a difference in the health of our community.

Every registration represents someone standing in the gap for a neighbor, friend, or loved one who may need access to a mammogram or enhanced cancer services. Your support helps make that possible, and we are so grateful you’re part of this mission!

A couple of important announcements:

🎃 1. We are SOLD OUT! There will be NO in-person registration on race day or the weeks leading up to race day. If you haven’t registered, we won’t be able to accommodate additional participants.

💗 2. Our sponsors, we’ve got you! We want to make sure our sponsors receive the registrations included in their sponsorship commitments. If you are a sponsor and still need to confirm your guaranteed registrations, please reach out to us. Don’t panic! You are our partners, and we want to make sure we take care of you.

This week, Bailee Gore, Communications and Development Coordinator, had the privilege of attending the 2026 Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference offered valuable opportunities to learn from leaders in healthcare philanthropy, exchange ideas, build meaningful relationships, and explore new ways to strengthen the impact of philanthropic giving. We were also grateful for the opportunity to connect with our friends at Huntsville Hospital Foundation!

One message resonated throughout the conference: at the heart of philanthropy are relationships. Meaningful impact begins with understanding the needs of our community, building trust, and connecting the generosity of our donors with opportunities to advance healthcare.

The Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers is proud to be part of a community that understands the power of giving. The generosity of our donors and partners allows us to support our hospitals, invest in better healthcare, and help strengthen the well-being of the communities we serve.
