We are so excited to announce that Claire Johnson will be holding an illustration/drawing class for older teens and adults on July 25th, 10:30 - 12:30. All supplies will be provided, but if you already have a sketch book started or have your favorite pen or pencil, bring them.

If you like anime or scifi, this is the drawing class for you! Claire will bring her portfolios (examples below) for you to peruse and get inspired.

Mark your calendar and call the MVAC Gallery at 256-571-7199 to reserve your spot among the 10 that are available. Fee is $15 for MVAC members/ $20 for non-members.

Constance Snavley created a gorgeous one-block wonder quilt which she has named "Garden Party". The middle panel shows how the fabric looked in the beginning. Fascinating!

The free motion long arm quilting is by Stephanie Parisi of She Shed Quilting.
