Last night was a powerful reminder of what makes Gunter special. With opening remarks from Scott Meyerdirk and an inspiring message from Superintendent Brandon Enos, we had the honor of celebrating some incredible students and their futures.

GIFT awarded 13 scholarships to deserving seniors, students who have put in the work, shown character, and represent the very best of Gunter. In addition, $25,000 was contributed to the Kerfoot Trust, continuing a legacy of investing in education and opportunity for years to come.

This is what community looks like, showing up, giving back, and believing in the next generation.

Our Kindergarten team received materials from their G.I.F.T. grant this week! Reading is going to be so much fun!! We’re so grateful for the support that made this possible!

**Event Update**

Our Bingo Night originally scheduled for March 7th has been postponed.

We’re excited to move the event to the beginning of the new school year on **August 1st**. More details, including time, location, and how to participate, will be shared soon.

We can’t wait to see you there!

🍽 Food: Delicious Chicken Express tenders, a side, and a roll!
$10 Adults | $5 Students

Bingo: $25 (5 games) or $100 (Family of 5)

How to Participate:
✅ Purchase tickets in advance at guntergift.com/shop to secure your spot for food and bingo fun!
✅ School-age kids can join the bingo excitement too! (Please note: no childcare is available.)

GIFT Scholarship Reminder!!!

Friendly reminder that the GIFT Scholarship application is due February 28, 2026 by 11:59 PM (CST). No late entries will be accepted, the clock really does strike midnight on this one!

➡️ Please do NOT turn it in to the counselor in person.

Be sure all required pieces, including your references, are submitted by the deadline.

One of our favorite days. 💙 Teachers across Gunter ISD applied, and we were honored to deliver $12,000 in classroom grants, plus an additional $40,000 awarded through the Kerfoot Trust. These funds go directly back into classrooms, resources, and opportunities that impact students every single day. Investing in our educators is always money well spent, and we’re grateful to support the people shaping the future of our community.
