Sustainable Development Strategies Group SDSG is a non-profit organization based in Colorado that manages and implements projects worldwide.

SDSG is a Colorado-based, independent nonprofit research institute advancing best practices for sustainable management of renewable energy and natural resources. We operate on the local, national and international levels to develop collaborative policy and legal frameworks that address the enormous challenge of using natural resource endowments to reduce poverty while protecting human rights and safeguarding the integrity of ecosystems.

#2: We released a book!

El Camino hacia la Paz y el Desarrollo (The Path to Peace and Development: Emerging Legal Framework for the Development of Natural Resources on Indigenous Lands) was published in September by the Human Rights Institute of the University of Deusto in Spain.

This book is a collaborative effort among nine authors, which examines legal developments and lessons learned in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru in ensuring compliance with international human rights obligations and standards on consultation and consent.

New Book Release!

Sustainable Development Strategies Group takes pleasure in announcing the publication of a new book, El Camino hacia la Paz y el Desarrollo (The Path to Peace and Development). This SDSG work has been published by the Human Rights Institute of the University of Deusto in Spain. It is the result of a deep collaboration among leading researchers in half a dozen countries.
