Worried about eviction? Help may be available.
The Colorado Division of Housing offers Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) — emergency rental assistance funding for Coloradans who have fallen behind on their rent, meet income limits and other qualifying factors, and are at risk of eviction or displacement. Assistance may be used to cover your rental payments on a short-term basis, and may also cover associated fees if required to protect you from displacement.
Please know: there is more demand than funds available. Households must meet eligibility requirements and be selected through a random selection process to apply. The best place to start is the CARE Center. They can help you understand your options, check some eligibility requirements, apply for assistance, and find other resources if this program cannot help right now.

Join GCHA and our local BMO branch for a free 30-minute virtual workshop on making a budget that actually holds up. We'll dig into what tends to get in the way, set up a simple system for tracking spending, map out your goals, and talk through reducing debt and growing emergency savings—with a framework you can start using right away.
