Looking for a giant cuddly companion? Well look no further. Ghost is an 18-month-old Cane Corso who weighs in at 90 lbs. She is shy but friendly once she gains some confidence.

Due to her breed, extra-large size, and active nature, she will only be adopted out to the perfect family. She will need physically strong persons with breed experience and a home with no small/young children. While she is a very sweet girl, she loves to play full contact and is still a puppy despite her size.

Ghost is great on leash and seems to do well around cats and dogs smaller than her. She knows sit, down, and is learning "off." Ghost is tall enough to be a counter surfer so you will need to make sure your food is secured before leaving her at home. She is fully potty trained and not destructive. She has demonstrated some nervousness around men wearing hats/hoods, but it seems exclusive to when she is in her kennel at the shelter and we're working hard to overcome this.

Ghost is a shelter manager favorite, and we'd love to tell you more about her.

New residents Briggs and Pamela have proven they know just how to play on a hot summer day 🌞

Briggs is estimated at 2 years old, is 37 lbs and very friendly. He occasionally seems a bit shy around people, but warms up with any amount of treats. This guy loves dog friends, and seems to be very good at gauging how different pups want to play. On car rides, he just wants to cuddle with the driver so he will likely need a seatbelt or barrier. Briggs is scared of crates. He seems pitty trained and is not destroying things in his kennel.

Pamela has obviously had a few litters...and we're told she spent all her time until last month chained in a yard getting bred again and again. She is very sweet and loves other dogs. She appears a bit timid around new men, but warms up with patience and affection. Pam needs a soft, gentle home. She loves lounging outside and sometimes forget she's allowed inside. You might have to bribe her through the threshold but once you get her to her bed, she'll lounge like no other. Pam could afford to lose a little weight, she is currently 61 lbs and estimated between 6 and 8 years old. She seems potty trained and travels well in a crate or just free in the back of the car...she immediately finds a comfy spot and takes a nap.

If you're interested in meeting or adopting either of these dogs, please reach out!

Meet Pamela ...

This sweet older lady has had her share of pups and is ready to retire to a slower life. Pam lived her life on a chain in the yard, birthing puppies non stop.

Extremely dog and people friendly, this girl will need a home with soft words and gentle reminders. This girl loves to play and be near her people. She's undergoing treatment for Erlichia which will be covered by GVAWL. She is spayed and ready for her soft place to land.

Pamela can be adopted for a reduced senior dog fee of $75. We just really want her to be happy and loved 🩷
