An enthusiastic young ambassador who loves 4-H, horsemanship, outdoor adventures, and preserving Colorado's rich Western heritage!

👑 Kylie Pringle – 2027 Cattlemen's Days Jr. Miss
Coming from a longtime Gunnison family, Kylie is actively involved in 4-H and loves spending time with her animals, riding her horse, and being involved in her community!

❤️ These young ladies are so much more than rodeo royalty! They are dedicated ambassadors for Cattlemen's Days and the Gunnison Valley, working to preserve our Western heritage while generously giving their time to support local organizations and community events.

We are especially grateful that they've chosen to share their time and talents with us at our biggest fundraiser of the year! Proceeds from the Rotary Banquet help support local scholarships, youth leadership programs, community grants, Rotary Youth Exchange, and service projects throughout the Gunnison Valley.

🌎🇨🇿 ELENA UPDATE: Jumping Right Into Gunnison Life! 🏔️💙💛

It hasn't taken our Rotary Youth Exchange student Elena long to start making Gunnison feel like home—and she is determined to experience everything she possibly can while she's here!

Elena is settling in beautifully with her first host family, Amy and Zinnia, and they've been busy showing her the Gunnison way of life. 🚲 Zinnia and Amy took her on a bike tour around town, she's already hit the rink for Community Skate Night 🛼, cooled off with a swim in the Slate River 💦, and connected with other international exchange students here in the Valley. 🌎

And school hasn't even started yet! 📚 Elena is officially registered for her junior year at Gunnison High School, with classes including Woodworking, Choir, French, Anatomy and more. She's even decided to try softball for the very first time! 🥎 We LOVE her adventurous spirit!

Friday evening, Rotarian Barth Hague and his wife, Betty, opened their beautiful home to host a wonderful welcome dinner for Elena, joined by several fellow Rotarians and their families. It was a special evening of food, fellowship, laughter, and making our newest honorary Gunnison girl feel right at home. ❤️

This is exactly what makes Rotary Youth Exchange so special. It's not simply about seeing another country—it's about becoming part of a community, trying things you've never tried before, building relationships, sharing cultures, and saying YES to new experiences.

And something tells us Elena is going to be very good at the "YES" part. 😉💙

We're only a few days into this adventure, and she's already making memories!
