We’d love for you to volunteer with us for our fall semester of English Learning Community, starting September 2!

Every Wednesday night, our ELC volunteers help new English speakers in our community to learn practical English through lessons, conversations, and small-group support.

You don’t need any special skills to volunteer.

Last night was extra special. 🤍 We opened the doors to our ELC School Supply Store, where families in our English Learning Community could come and get everything on their child’s school supply list completely FREE!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Cornerstone Christian Church and River Road United Methodist Church, our tables were filled with notebooks, folders, crayons, pencils, backpacks, and so much more. And the best part? The kids got to shop for themselves, choosing their favorite colors and picking out the supplies they were most excited to take to school. Watching their faces light up was something we won’t soon forget.

We love our ELC community, and it was such a joy to come alongside these families as they prepare for a brand new school year.

And somehow, the timing made it even sweeter: yesterday was 28:19’s 7th birthday! 🎉

Seven years of saying yes. Seven years of going where God calls us, loving the people He puts in front of us, and watching Him do more than we ever could have imagined.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than this. 🤍

There are some evenings you simply don’t want to miss. On September 17, we’d love to welcome you to An Evening at Dover Hall.

Together, we’ll gather around the table to celebrate what God is doing through 28:19 Ministries, hear stories of lives being transformed, enjoy an unforgettable meal, and look ahead with expectancy for all He has yet to do.

More than a dinner, this is an invitation to be part of the story God is writing around the world through ordinary people who simply say “yes” to Him.
