Ayden’s Goal

The Stockstill and Perry families made a generous donation in honor of their sons, Ayden Stockstill and Landon Perry, who were tragically taken away from their families and friends way too soon. This will now create a scholarship fund for a deserving player at Gulf Coast United in their memory!

Thursday evening, we were privileged to meet some of the young men who played on the Gulf Coast United Futbol Club team that had honored Ayden by making him an honorary player last year. Also we were able to make a donation to GCUFC in memory of Ayden and Landon Perry. Landon was another young man of faith, who loved soccer and had made his mark in soccer - playing, coaching and refereeing. He even wore #25 on one of his teams. Tragically, he lost his life on Mississippi road too.

GCUFC is very special to us. After Ayden’s passing, when I called to see if I could buy a GCUFC jersey, they said no - we would be honored to present you with one.

Our thanks to Executive Director Pam Ezell and Coach Ryan Joiner for arranging this.

The donation was made by the Ayden’s Goal: Beyond the Game Fund, a fund of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
