Calling all local artists!

The City of Gulfport is seeking local artists to design a new “Welcome to Gulfport” sign located at Trolly Market Square.

The selected artist will receive a $500 stipend, and designs must be submitted by June 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity to help create something that welcomes residents and visitors into our City and reflects the creativity, character, and charm of Gulfport.

Summer 2026 Kids Art Programming is Here! ☀️🏖️🎨🖌️🌈✨

EVERY THURSDAY -2pm, starting JUNE 11TH is Kids Free Craft Days! These are drop-in art days where kids can create art freely with other kids, all materials provided. Space is first-come-first-serve.

This is followed by Kids Summer Art Camp EVERY FRIDAY @1:30pm-3pm, starting JUNE 12TH! These are weekly structured art lessons for ages 6-12 ONLY, where they will learn about art processes and concepts through creativity and play. Registration is REQUIRED in order to participate in Art Camp.

Thank you so much to Elizabeth Neily for running an amazing silk dyeing workshop last weekend as our first guest arts instructor! About 20 participants created vibrant, hand-dyed scarves using ColorHue™ dyes under Neily's excellent instruction. So much fun!
