There’s still time to join us as we launch our HER Journey program at the Mississippi Gulf Coast YMCA , but this Saturday’s fitness class is almost full!

If your daughter would like to participate, please scan the QR code on the flyer and register ASAP to secure her spot.

🚌 FREE YMCA transportation will be provided from Gautier High School.

Parents/guardians who register their daughter will be contacted tomorrow with additional details.

This class is completely FREE — we just need you to register! 💕

Can’t make it this Saturday? No worries! We have two more fitness classes coming up on September 19 and September 26. Girls can register for the date(s) that work best for them, based on availability.

Parenting was never meant to happen alone.

Yet every day, mothers, fathers, grandparents, guardians, and caregivers are carrying questions, fears, and responsibilities by themselves.

Wondering if they're doing enough.
Wondering if they're making the right decisions.
Wondering if anyone else understands what they're are going through.

The truth is, no one person has all the answers.

And no child was meant to be raised by one person alone.

Children thrive when they are surrounded by caring adults who support, encourage, guide, and invest in their growth.

But children also thrive when they feel seen, heard, understood, and connected to the people raising them.

HER Village creates a space where caregivers can learn, grow, share experiences, access resources, and build meaningful relationships with one another.

More importantly, it helps strengthen the relationships between caregivers and their children.

Because stronger communication creates stronger connections.

Our WHY...

Somewhere on the Gulf Coast, a girl started her period today.
She wasn't expecting it.
She wasn't prepared for it.
And she wasn't sure who to talk to.
As the pain began, so did the questions.

Why is this happening?
Why does it hurt?
Is this something I should be concerned about?

She wrapped toilet paper in her underwear and hoped it would be enough.
When her friends came over to play, she stayed behind.

Embarrassed.
Confused.
Unsure of what to do next.
Even surrounded by family, she felt alone.

No girl should have to navigate those moments without support, education, resources, or someone she can trust.

That's why Prepare HER Now created the Prepared, Period. Campaign.

Prepared, Period. is designed to help girls step into womanhood with confidence by providing menstrual health education, access to essential hygiene products, and support for the journey ahead.

Through this campaign, we are collecting items such as:

• Pads
• Tampons
• Period panties
• Feminine wipes
• Other menstrual hygiene essentials

These items will be assembled into menstrual health kits and distributed to girls throughout Jackson County.

Because a pad is never just a pad.

It's confidence.
It's dignity.
It's education.
It's support.
It's knowing you're not alone.

Join us as we work to ensure every girl has the resources, knowledge, and encouragement she needs to navigate womanhood with confidence.

For me. For you. For HER.

A pad = confidence.
A pad = dignity.
A pad = participation in school.
A pad = feeling prepared.
A pad = support.
