Hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals alike visited with their children and families for fun and learning. The coast is missing attractions like this now and with the reconstruction after 2005, we really need them. Gulfport needs family friendly tourist attractions and what speaks to that on a coastal town more than Marine Life?!

Camp Aqua at Mississippi Aquarium can spark a lasting love for science, animals, and nature in your kiddo during an unforgettable Summer Camp Experience!

This summer it's all about WATER WORKS! Campers age 7 to 11 get to DIVE IN on what it takes to work at an aquarium. Campers will explore the ins and outs of the aquarium industry through hands-on learning. Each day brings a new and unique experience with our various teams including our Animal Care Specialists, Facility Operators, Dive Team Members, and many more!

This week-long day camp is offered 6 different weeks throughout the summer so you can pick the week that works for your family!

Campers will go on an adventure with our education experts. The day begins with a quick lesson on MS fishing regulations, how to fish, and then they get to spend the morning fishing for local species. After fishing, campers will make their way back to MSAQ to participate in a shark dissection!
