Dear Parents,
Teach your children to value holiness, not as a burden, but as a joyful response to God’s grace. In a culture that often encourages us to follow our own desires, Scripture calls believers to live differently—not to earn God's love, but because we have already received it through Christ. Holiness is simply learning to love what God loves and choosing to walk in His ways.
As parents, we have the privilege of helping our children understand that God's commands are not meant to limit their joy but to lead them into it. When we teach them to obey God, pursue purity, show kindness, tell the truth, and honor others, we are helping them discover the freedom and blessing that come from walking with Him. The Christian life is not about rule-keeping; it is about a relationship with Jesus that transforms our hearts and shapes our choices.
Pray with us: Father, thank You for Your grace that saves us and changes us. Help our family pursue holiness, not out of obligation, but out of love for You. Shape our hearts to desire what honors You, and teach our children that true joy is found in walking closely with Christ. May our lives reflect Your goodness and bring glory to Your name.
