Our young explorers had an amazing time during this week’s Terrific Tuesday with 4-H: Fossils and Paleontology Workshop!

Participants stepped into the shoes of real paleontologists as they discovered how fossils are formed, learned about ancient life on Earth, and created their very own fossil imprints to take home!

What a Terrific Tuesday!🍀

Our sink or float workshop was a splashing success! Youth scientists explored the concepts of sink or float by making predictions, testing everyday objects, and discovering how density affects whether an object sinks or stays afloat.

⚓️The highlight of the day was our Aluminum Foil Boat Challenge! Participants designed and built boats using only aluminum foal, then tested to see which could hold the most stones before sinking. Through teamwork, creativity, and a little friendly competition, they learned how shape, volume, and density work together to help objects float!

🐠🎣 Grab your fishing gear and join us for a fun-filled day of learning, fishing, and outdoor adventure!

🐟Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic fishing techniques, water safety, fish, identification, and conservation practices while enjoying time outdoors.
