The charter for Polar Star Masonic Lodge was established in 1852. Lodge members met at Its original location (1205 East Pass Road in Gulfport, MS) from 1852 to 2022 (170 years). At this location, the Free and Accepted Lodge had many special visitors, including Confederate President Jefferson Davis, who was not a Freemason, but rather a member of the Odd Fellows. At that time, both orders used the

same building to meet. In November of 2021, the members of Polar Star voted to put the property up for sale due to building's poor condition and officially moved it's charter to The Gulf Coast Masonic Center (15101 Creosote Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503) in February of 2022.
