Lyman Youth Association

Lyman Youth Association The Lyman Youth Association is a 501c3 non profit association located in Gulfport Mississippi. The Lyman Youth Association is operated by volunteers.

The Lyman Youth Association offers youth football and cheerleading. The Lyman Cowboys were founded in 1990 and have continued to grow and evolve over the years. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005 our league consisted of about 110 football players and a handful of cheerleaders ages 5-12. Since that time our league has grown to average about 190 football players and 50 cheerleaders. We are a member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Youth Football League and a USA Football League Affiliate.

LYA has closed the following registrations for tackle football due to the teams reaching their maximum participation limits: 6U, 8U, & 12U. 10U currently has only 11 open roster spots.🤠

Sending out a reminder that we will be out here at Bruce Ladner Field until about 7:30-7:45 continuing 10U player evaluations tomorrow and Thursday 🤠

All new 10U players that are registered and any that plan on registering for 10U need to be at Bruce Ladner Field on Mon, Tues., and Thursday of this week for player evaluations for the 10U draft on 8/7 times for those days are from 6-8 we do not need any returning players this week unless they want their athlete to do drills and start conditioning.
