The Mississippi Institute of Dolphin Science (MSIDS) is a 501c3 dolphin research and advocacy organization founded by former dolphin trainers and scientists who apply knowledge gained from their work with dolphins under human care to assess the health of wild dolphins. MSIDS monitors dolphin health using naturally occurring interactions between dolphins and fisheries. MSIDS is developing a new wil

MSIDS wishes to partner with other organizations, such as the AMMPA and IMATA and their affiliates, to provide live streaming activities, environmental enrichment, and public outreach programs. MSIDS mission is to support dolphins and their habitats via monitoring environmental factors both natural and anthropogenic, assessing dolphin and environmental health, and providing environmental enrichment and enhancement.
