The brand new innovative Harrison County Advocacy Center in Gulfport is a one stop shop that assesses each individual’s needs and coordinates services and resources at no charge. The first of its kind in the state, HCAC assesses clients’ needs and connects them with all of the vital information and many resources they may want or need. HCAC also offers free education

al courses to empower and improve the quality of life to youth, adults, seniors, veterans and families. Harrison County Supervisors are working toward a future in which everyone has access to the many opportunities, resources and services that are already available but many people don’t know they exist or how to find them. Together, we can nurture positive growth and independence for anyone who needs it, making Harrison County stronger and safer one step at a time.

Please join us May 15th for the monthly Blue Ribbon committee meeting on child protection from 1:00PM to 2:00PM in the Harrison County Board of Supervisors Board Meeting Room at the Harrison County Courthouse, 1801 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.

These meetings are open to the public so all who desire to come may participate.
