The brand new innovative Harrison County Advocacy Center in Gulfport is a one stop shop that assesses each individual’s needs and coordinates services and resources at no charge. The first of its kind in the state, HCAC assesses clients’ needs and connects them with all of the vital information and many resources they may want or need. HCAC also offers free education

al courses to empower and improve the quality of life to youth, adults, seniors, veterans and families. Harrison County Supervisors are working toward a future in which everyone has access to the many opportunities, resources and services that are already available but many people don’t know they exist or how to find them. Together, we can nurture positive growth and independence for anyone who needs it, making Harrison County stronger and safer one step at a time.

The monthly Blue-Ribbon Committee meeting on child protection is coming up this Friday, August 21, 2026. We will begin at 1 PM in the Harrison County Board of Supervisors Meeting Room at the Harrison County Courthouse.

This meeting is open to the public, so come by and learn how you can be involved.
