Three years ago, Skippin & Sippin was created with one simple goal: to bring phriends together for an unforgettable day while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing breast cancer.
Because of this incredible community, that vision has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined.
Today, we’re proud to introduce Skippin & Sippin, Inc.
While we continue awaiting our official IRS determination recognizing us as a 501(c)(3) public charity, we’ve spent the past several months laying the foundation to responsibly expand our mission, strengthen our organization, and increase our impact.
Born from the spirit of Meeting of the Minds, inspired by the generosity of the Parrot Head community, and proudly rooted in Gulf Shores, our vision is to provide hope, support, and meaningful assistance to breast cancer patients in our host community, its surrounding communities, and our fellow Parrot Head phriends in need.
As we continue to grow, so will our impact. In the months ahead, we’ll begin sharing more about the patient assistance programs, community initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships we’re developing to further our mission. What started as a race is becoming a year-round commitment to serving others.
None of this would be possible without our participants, sponsors, bralunteers, PHIP, Inc., LuLu’s Gulf Shores, and every person who has believed in this mission from the very beginning. Thank you for helping turn an idea into something that has the potential to change lives for years to come.

And tomorrow, we’ll kick off this exciting new chapter by opening registration for the 4th Annual Skippin & Sippin 5K & Fun Run/Walk! Guess what time? 5 o'clock! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
