Recent additions to the collection! A christening dress worn by David Hartley Stevens and Charlotte Stevens Cookson in the early 1900s. A fiber arts piece entitled "If Walls Could Talk" created to commemorate the history of the woolen mill in town. The bell tower has been a visual sign in the town for many years.
Four of the eight quilts recently donated by Beth Tripp, handmade by Maine women, before traveling across the nation, ending up in Washington State and now back 'home'. They are very old but so very beautifully designed.

At our meeting last evening VP Floyd Marsh presented dedicated PCHS interns, Chase Lander and Ava Goulette, with a certificate of appreciation and a monetary stipend. The pair worked 80 hours curating a plethora of donations, organizing newspaper clippings and adding to displays. Chase will be entering his senior year at PCHS while Ava is headed to UMaine to study Secondary Education. We are grateful for all of the work they were able to complete!

Thanks to all volunteers at GHS during CHRISTMAS IN GUILFORD events and thanks to Guilford Bed and Breakfast for hosting our Christmas Party again this year. Santa and Mrs. Clause joined the crowd in Guilford on Friday night along with the Shiretown Singers. All participated in Christmas Carolling and the Annual Tree Lighting countdown.
