We are an organization that provides free personal hygiene items to GCSD students and their families.

We had a request from an elementary family that has sensitive skin issues. They asked for these products to help them manage their issues. 😢

These products are not cheap and it’s just one more way that your generosity helps us help those in need.

Imagine being a child in elementary school and itching and scratching as you are trying to learn. The ability to focus goes out the door. We are always happy to assist when these types of requests come in. ❤️🤍

This morning we dropped off supplies to the high school for Junior Prom and Senior Ball season!

These events are milestones to be remembered fondly, not as moments of sadness because a teen didn’t have access to things that would assist them in feeling and looking their best on the big day.

Dozens of make up items, nail polishes and even some fun glittery body splashes will be added to the closet for those in need.

We do the best we can to accommodate the high school students and this is such an easy YES for us!

Sometimes it’s just the little things….

Yesterday we restocked some much needed items for the middle school. They house a fully stocked pantry that students in need can access the personal hygiene items.

From menstrual hygiene products to body wash, deodorant and underwear for those times accidents happen, students have full access. Our mission is to provide these items to help remove the obstacle of lack of access so that students can thrive during their educational journey.

This week we dropped off 18 hygiene kits to a Life Skills classroom at the high school so that these students can learn proper hygiene skills.

In life we can sometimes take for granted the small tasks throughout our day. Or even the fact that we have access to items to help us along. Our mission is to help those that lack access to basic hygiene items so that they can thrive at school and home.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of those that braved the cold along with us to make this “Shower Them With Love” event one of our best!

Our amazing board members greeted every car with a smile that would warm any heart. Rockstars, all of them!

We couldn’t have done this without our friends at the Guilderland Public Library allowing us to use their parking lot. We are so grateful for them and their continued support.

It truly does take a village, a village where members truly want to make an impact right where they live. We are so lucky to be a part of this amazing community! 💕❤️💕

💕❤️💕TODAY IS THE DAY!!💕❤️💕

This is our biggest fundraising opportunity of the year!

The sun is shining, it will definitely be chilly, but come warm the hearts of our volunteers and those that we help to support.

You simply drive up to the main entrance, from the warmth of your vehicle, a Caring Closet board member will take your donations and you can drive back back out. Easy peezy!

Why do your donations matter? This right here is why!!

We are seeing more and more of these requests and we continue to answer the call each and every time.

These students need the chance to participate in their educational journey without the worry that their hygiene will impede them. These kits that we are able to put together are a direct result of your support.

Please join us at our “Shower Them With Love” event this Sunday from 10am- Noon at the Guilderland Public Library!! Donations can be made from the comfort of your car. Such an easy way to give towards the the most vulnerable in our community. 💕❤️💕

We are just a few days away from our SUPER event being held this Sunday. We know you might have big game plans, but why don’t you kickoff the morning spreading some love for others in our community?!? 💕❤️💕

So many children rely on the support that we give them and their families, we would love to make this our biggest event ever!

It’s so easy to drive up, stay in your toasty car (because we hear it’s going to be a COLD 🥶 one) and hand your donation to a smiling friendly face in support of our mission.

We are currently helping hundreds in our Guilderland community and we can’t do it alone. In the comments below, is a link to our Walmart wishlist list for ideas of donation. If you’d rather donate money, you can still swing through and drop off. We love meeting those who support us!

We love our high school Caring Closet students! 💕🫶🏻

This morning a drop off was done of needed products for the high school’s Caring Closet space and at that time a handoff of Thank You cards was given to us.

They came from the students that we provided the hygiene kits to a few weeks back. It warms our hearts when we see such special things come our way. We work in anonymity, so we never know who we are helping, just that we are.

The continued support we receive from all of you is what allows this to happen. Please consider stopping by at our “Shower Them With Love” event on February 8th! We all make a difference together! 🫶🏻💕

A big thank you to our new friends, Kristen and her crew at Pure Elements An Organic Salon!

They held a donation drive in our honor and were able to deliver what they raised last week. 😊

We are so grateful to the businesses large and small in our community that help support our mission. With the support from our local partners, we are able to help so many families!

We always remind people, shop local when you can because those are businesses that will support the local charities. It’s a symbiotic partnership. 💕

We are all in this together.

It’s almost time for our favorite event of the year!! Join us February 8, 2026 for our 4th annual “Shower Them With Love” drive through drop off event! ❤️💕❤️

We are once again partnering up with the Guilderland Public Library as they graciously allow us to utilize their parking lot for our event. We will be at the Main Entrance to the library, where you can drive up, drop off and make your way right back out of the parking lot.

Our mission has never been more important. We have helped hundreds in our community gain access to basic personal hygiene items at no cost. The impact that this has had on students has been enormous. Lack of access to these items can lead to a child not wanting to participate in classroom activities for fear of being seen and bullied for poor hygiene.

Your support has made a difference, children are engaging in classroom activities more, social dynamics in classrooms are shifting and it leads to an overall more positive experience in a school day.

We hope to see you there! We will be accepting hygiene products and monetary donations, so please consider coming by and saying hi!
