We are an organization that provides free personal hygiene items to GCSD students and their families.

Yesterday a refill was dropped off to the high school Caring Closet to ensure the students could take as much as they needed to get them through the Summer months.

But never fear!! One of the perks with the high school Caring Closet is that there is access to it during the Summer months during the normal school work day.

We will make sure that the stock is filled and ready for those students and families who might need a little extra to get by while school is not in session.

We are always grateful for your support and it really does go a long way in helping those in our community! ❤️🤍

AND THAT’S A WRAP on the 2025-2026 school year for us! 😁👍🏻

Today we filled our Summer Stock Up bags for all 5 elementary schools. These bags differ in the fact that what we supplied will cover 4 months for a family.

It is no easy feat and a lot of planning and organizing goes into this last fill of the year. One thing we do is buy economy sizes of what we need. This cuts down on how heavy bags are and how many bags we need to give to a family.

We can’t thank you all enough for supporting us all year long. The families we help are so grateful and we are too!

We are already looking ahead to the 2026-2027 school year and how we can continue to best serve those in our community. ❤️🤍

We had a request from an elementary family that has sensitive skin issues. They asked for these products to help them manage their issues. 😢

These products are not cheap and it’s just one more way that your generosity helps us help those in need.

Imagine being a child in elementary school and itching and scratching as you are trying to learn. The ability to focus goes out the door. We are always happy to assist when these types of requests come in. ❤️🤍

This morning we dropped off supplies to the high school for Junior Prom and Senior Ball season!

These events are milestones to be remembered fondly, not as moments of sadness because a teen didn’t have access to things that would assist them in feeling and looking their best on the big day.

Dozens of make up items, nail polishes and even some fun glittery body splashes will be added to the closet for those in need.

We do the best we can to accommodate the high school students and this is such an easy YES for us!

Sometimes it’s just the little things….

Yesterday we restocked some much needed items for the middle school. They house a fully stocked pantry that students in need can access the personal hygiene items.

From menstrual hygiene products to body wash, deodorant and underwear for those times accidents happen, students have full access. Our mission is to provide these items to help remove the obstacle of lack of access so that students can thrive during their educational journey.

This week we dropped off 18 hygiene kits to a Life Skills classroom at the high school so that these students can learn proper hygiene skills.

In life we can sometimes take for granted the small tasks throughout our day. Or even the fact that we have access to items to help us along. Our mission is to help those that lack access to basic hygiene items so that they can thrive at school and home.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of those that braved the cold along with us to make this “Shower Them With Love” event one of our best!

Our amazing board members greeted every car with a smile that would warm any heart. Rockstars, all of them!

We couldn’t have done this without our friends at the Guilderland Public Library allowing us to use their parking lot. We are so grateful for them and their continued support.

It truly does take a village, a village where members truly want to make an impact right where they live. We are so lucky to be a part of this amazing community! 💕❤️💕

💕❤️💕TODAY IS THE DAY!!💕❤️💕

This is our biggest fundraising opportunity of the year!

The sun is shining, it will definitely be chilly, but come warm the hearts of our volunteers and those that we help to support.

You simply drive up to the main entrance, from the warmth of your vehicle, a Caring Closet board member will take your donations and you can drive back back out. Easy peezy!

Why do your donations matter? This right here is why!!

We are seeing more and more of these requests and we continue to answer the call each and every time.

These students need the chance to participate in their educational journey without the worry that their hygiene will impede them. These kits that we are able to put together are a direct result of your support.

Please join us at our “Shower Them With Love” event this Sunday from 10am- Noon at the Guilderland Public Library!! Donations can be made from the comfort of your car. Such an easy way to give towards the the most vulnerable in our community. 💕❤️💕

We are just a few days away from our SUPER event being held this Sunday. We know you might have big game plans, but why don’t you kickoff the morning spreading some love for others in our community?!? 💕❤️💕

So many children rely on the support that we give them and their families, we would love to make this our biggest event ever!

It’s so easy to drive up, stay in your toasty car (because we hear it’s going to be a COLD 🥶 one) and hand your donation to a smiling friendly face in support of our mission.

We are currently helping hundreds in our Guilderland community and we can’t do it alone. In the comments below, is a link to our Walmart wishlist list for ideas of donation. If you’d rather donate money, you can still swing through and drop off. We love meeting those who support us!

We hope to score a huge TOUCHDOWN this Sunday at the Guilderland Public Library, see you there!
