Dear Guernsey,
I have run this page since 2019, when I was given permission by the Chief. I will be discontinuing it shortly, as I was terminated by the Town of Guernsey effective immediately, on April 19th.
I wanted to take the time to tell you all that it was my great honor and my privilege to serve and protect the people of Guernsey, and I took immense pride in doing so.
I wanted to thank you all for the opportunity, and to let you know it was a pleasure. I will stop in and say “Hello” as time and circumstance allows.
In the meantime, good-bye, good luck, God Bless, and Stay Safe.

The Guernsey Police have begun ”tee up” more traffic enforcement on South Wyoming Avenue. This is “on par” with the golf course opening soon, as well as campers arriving. Golf carts will soon be in the area, as well as bikes and kids. It’s best to ”birdie” the twenty five mile an hour speed limit so no one ends up “in the rough”.
Have fun, stay safe, replace your divots, and be good to one another.
We know that there is snow on the ground as we post this. Spring is coming. We promise.

The Guernsey Police Department would like to remind you that it is a lot easier (not to mention a lot less paperwork) to give you a ride home then it is to take you to jail. As we say goodbye to 2022, please have a designated driver or even call us! Celebrate responsibly, stay safe, and may next year be a great one!
