Our care closet is visited by students daily. Please reach out if you'd like to support our work or if your student/family needs supplies.
We are in need of funds to replenish stock as well as NEW:
Deodorant
Dry shampoo
Brushes/combs/haircare
Underwear and socks of all sizes
And more. Donations are tax deductible.

Dear community,
We are gearing up to open a care closet for the students and families at Guerneville School. These items will be free for students and families as needs arise. We will be looking for volunteers to help man the store soon, but we are currently COLLECTING THESE ITEMS. Personal sizes or small (and easy to care) items are preferred. Please, new items only unless specified:

Shampoo\Conditioner
Laundry detergent (1 use) - Hypoallergenic
Combs/ Hair Brushes
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Mouthwash
Deodorant
Lotion
Chapstick
Pads and other personal hygiene items
Shower wipes

Lice Treatment
Sunscreen
Clear calamine
First Aid Kits- Bandaids, Neosporin

Food Items:
Non-perishable items such as:
Cup of Noodle
Canned soups
Easy to make meals
Snack bars

Clothing:
Shirts/shorts/pants youth sizes- good/excellent condition
Jackets/sweatshirts, youth sizes- good/excellent condition
Socks- new condition
Underwear-new condition
Sports shoes- good/excellent condition

The first clothing donation drop off is today from 12:30-2 at Drake Park. Shout out to Trisha Barnes & Dominique Soileau for bearing the rain today to accept donations ! It takes a community & we have an amazing one ❤️

The second donation time is tomorrow from 9-11, at the Rio Nido Roadhouse, with a strict 11 am cut off so we’re not overwhelmed with donation leftovers & have time to lay everything out.

Come tomorrow for "shopping" between 11am-2pm. Items are free for children. Let's make this a successful swap.
