FOUND CAT in Gualala

This handsome brown mackerel tabby with beautiful green eyes has been hanging around Collin’s Landing for about a week. He is an unneutered male, likely around a year old and he is not chipped. This sweet guy is extremely friendly and clearly thinks he belongs indoors on someone's couch! If this green-eyed charmer looks familiar, or if you know where he belongs, please reach out. Let's help this sweet boy find his way home and to his own couch!

Please share with friends and neighbors in the Gualala and Coast community.

Meet Rosemary, a beautiful 1-year-old tortie with soulful green eyes and a heart as warm as her personality. Playful and cuddly, Rosemary has a nurturing, mama-cat spirit. She came to us with kittens and still carries that gentle, loving energy into everything she does. She adores affection, enjoys playtime, and is wonderfully social, getting along great with dogs, cats and children. Rosemary is the kind of cat who makes a house feel like a home, offering comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. If you’re ready to open your heart to a truly special girl, adopt Rosemary and let her fill your life with purrs, snuggles, and endless love.

The Redwood Coast Humane Society shelter is open on Saturdays from 12-2pm to meet our cats and kittens. Kindly note that an appointment is required to meet our dogs. We are located at 39151 S. Smudge is a rare 10-month-old orange marmalade floof who is currently accepting applications for a full-time staff, er, I mean, family. As a female orange tabby, she considers herself a genetic marvel and fully expects the royal treatment to match her prestigious status. Her daily demands include precisely timed gourmet wet food served in the "good" bowl and intense feather-wand training sessions to keep her hunting skills sharp. When she isn’t ruling the living room, she can be found in her top-secret hiding spots, having mastered the art of being "slightly shy" just to make her eventual cuddles feel like a hard-won prize. Though she is petite, Smudge is the undisputed CEO of the household and is looking for a human who understands that her sweetness is a gift bestowed only upon the worthy. For those ready to serve a ginger queen and upgrade their lives with some serious fluff, Smudge is ready to head to your home where her throne awaits!

Happy endings like this are what it’s all about ❤

Buckwheat (now named Gino) has found the perfect home, and we couldn’t be happier for him. His new family says he is “just a delight” and loved by everyone he meets. He’s already enjoying adventures, including a trailer camping trip to Pismo Beach where he did amazingly well!

Stories like Gino’s remind us why rescue matters. His new family says they’re so grateful he was still at the shelter the day they walked in. Thank you to his adopters for giving this sweet boy (the last of the Grain Gang) the amazing life he deserves and thank you to everyone who supports rescue and adoption.

Happy life, Gino!
