🌟 Meet Amanda! 🌟

Amanda has been a dedicated Community Health Worker with Mendonoma Health Alliance for the past 2 years, helping connect community members with the support and resources they need.

A lifelong Mendonoma Coast resident, Amanda comes from a family that has supported this community for generations. She loves that her work allows her to continue that tradition of helping others.

Amanda's favorite parts of her job are teaching community classes, working with local youth, and supporting the Spanish-speaking community. She is passionate about learning more so she can better serve and connect with those around her.

Those are the words of one of our local seniors after participating in MHA’s free fall-prevention program.

For many older adults, fear of falling leads to isolation, loss of confidence, and declining health. Programs like Matter of Balance help people stay active, independent, and connected to the life they love.
