Today, we celebrate all of the young women who had the courage to step forward and represent our community. Congratulations to each candidate for your hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout this journey.
A special congratulations to Savannah Salcido. Over the past eight weeks, she carried herself with grace, class, poise, humility, and determination. She represented herself, her family, Kiwanis, and the community of Guadalupe with dignity every step of the way. As her Chair, I could not be more proud of the young woman she has become.
Through the generosity of our community and the tireless efforts of Savannah and her family, Savannah raised an incredible $58,000 during her campaign. What makes this accomplishment even more meaningful is that those funds will be reinvested back into the Guadalupe community, supporting programs, projects, and opportunities that benefit local youth and families.
To Savannah, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment. To her family, thank you for the countless hours, sacrifices, and support you poured into this journey. And to our amazing community, thank you for every sponsorship, donation, ticket purchase, volunteer hour, and word of encouragement.
This campaign was never just about a crown—it was about service, leadership, community, and giving back. Savannah embodied those values beautifully, and for that, we are incredibly proud.
