"Guadalupe s developing an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) that will guid the City’s efforts towards having healthier trees. A UFMP considers all trees in the City, like those that grow around homes, on streets, in parks and shopping areas.”

This survey is being forward to gather input from those familiar with Guadalupe and their opinions on trees within the city. If you will, please complete the linked survey which will help city staff help coordinate efforts to plant and maintain new or existing trees in the city. Some of you may have already been involved in the survey and if so, please forward to others who may be interested in trees our community.

As you may have seen in the news, ICE seems to be moving up Highway 101 from Ventura to Carpinteria, 90 miles away from Guadalupe and the Santa Maria Valley.

Are Santa Maria and Guadalupe on ICE agents' itinerary? They are certainly heading in that direction, as the only other option is to return the way they came.

From a resilience perspective, how would you suggest that immigrants and their allies prepare?
