What a beautiful day for golf! Third time’s the charm when it comes to the weather for our Annual Tournament! ☀️⛳

RAGBRAI Town Hall Meeting

June 15, 2026. The Grundy Center RAGBRAI Committee invites all residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, June 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Community Center.

Please note: The meeting will end promptly at 6:15 p.m. to accommodate the City Council meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Topics to be discussed include:

🚧 Road closures and traffic impacts\
📋 Event logistics and planning updates\
🙋 Volunteer opportunities and community involvement\
🦺 Safety measures and emergency preparedness\
❓ Questions and answers with event organizers and community leaders (Q&A will take place at the end of the meeting)

This is a great opportunity to learn more about RAGBRAI’s visit to Grundy Center, understand how the event may affect you, and get answers to your questions.

Pre-Ride for RAGBRAI

June 4th at 10 AM. On June 4 from 10:00-10:30 AM, our community will welcome approximately 30 RAGBRAI cyclists during a pre-ride visit at the Community Center. This is a great opportunity for RAGBRAI officials to meet with local police, EMS personnel, business owners, vendors, and community members as we prepare for the event.

If you live along the RAGBRAI route (entering from the west and traveling east on G Avenue) or own a business in the area, you are encouraged to attend. Bring any questions you may have about the route, logistics, safety, traffic impacts, or event activities.

A huge THANK YOU to this amazing crew for getting the downtown flowers planted! 🌸🌼 Aren’t they beautiful?!

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to these hardworking high school students for taking time out of their Saturday morning to help place flowers throughout downtown. Your willingness to give back to the community is greatly appreciated, and your efforts help make our downtown look welcoming and vibrant for everyone to enjoy.
