Jovonna is a powerhouse instructor mixing great music with a mix of cardio and strength training movements. Check out her classes soon.

From exciting games and creative activities to new friendships and unforgettable adventures, our campers are making the most of every day. The laughter, energy, and smiles around camp remind us why summer at the Y is so special!

Meet Karlyn Wilkes-our new Strength & Conditioning Coach at Steiner Branch YMCA. She holds several certifications including a Masters Degree in Health, Exercise and Sports Science.

Karlyn has worked as a strength coach since 2012. She has coached a wide range of age groups from elementary school students to seniors to D1 Athletes, and from mothers to Olympians. She believes everyone has the potential to be an athlete and is certified to work with pregnant, postpartum, and pelvic floor clients.

Karlyn will be holding 2 Group Training Sessions this summer (See attached flyers) - 1 for Women and the other group is for Youth Sports Conditioning. Registration is open at www.thefamilyy.org or call 706-922-6713 for more information.
