Crown HER Mentoring is preparing for our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Queens Give Back Event! 👑💕

We are now collecting canned goods and non-perishable Thanksgiving food items to help support families in our community this holiday season. 🥫🍂

Suggested donations include:
🥫 Canned vegetables
🍽️ Stuffing
🧀 Macaroni and cheese
🍚 Rice
🥣 Gravy
🍒 Cranberry sauce
🥔 Instant potatoes
🌽 Cornbread mix
🛒 Other shelf-stable food items

Every donation helps us continue our mission of giving back, serving families, and teaching our girls the importance of leadership through service. 💕👑

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM CROWN CITY 🚨

Week 3: Lead Out Loud class was a SUCCESS🌸

Crown City has officially been SAVED! 🏙️👑🔑

Our six young leaders completed five emergency missions, made tough budget decisions, designed apartment communities, responded to emergency hotline calls, and worked together to unlock the final code! 💭💵🏢☎️

They had to think fast, communicate, compromise, and make decisions that would help the entire community. Some challenges had them stressed, but they did not give up! They collected all five Crown City Keys and saved the city before time ran out! 🔑⏰🙌🏾

A huge thank you to our amazing mentors, for helping guide, encourage, and support the girls throughout every mission! 💕👑

The girls had so much fun, and we loved watching their leadership, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork come to life! This was definitely one of our best Lead Out Loud classes yet! 🥹💗

Crown City was depending on them, and they answered the call! 📞👑🏙️

What a WONDERFUL Queen’s Canvas Workshop today! 👑🎨💗

Our girls had the opportunity to slow down, get creative, and see themselves through a different lens. 🪞✨ This workshop was about more than making art. It was about self-image, confidence, and recognizing the beauty in who they already are. 💕🌸

We even discovered something interesting while looking in the mirror. 👀🪞 The longer you stare at yourself, the more your reflection can start to look different. And what a lesson that became! 💭✨

Sometimes when we focus on ourselves for too long, we begin noticing little things, picking ourselves apart, and seeing flaws that were never the whole picture. 💗 We reminded our girls that your reflection should never be used to search for what is wrong with you. It should remind you of everything that makes you YOU! 👑💕✨

Today our Queens got a chance to see themselves differently, and we absolutely loved watching it happen. 🥹👑💖

At Crown HER Mentoring, we believe every girl deserves to know that her life matters, her voice matters, and she does not have to carry difficult moments alone. 👑💕

Sometimes the people who seem the strongest are fighting battles we cannot see. This month, we encourage families to check in, listen without judgment, pay attention to changes in behavior, and remind our young people that asking for help is a sign of strength. 💗

More highlights from yesterday’s Lead Out Loud class! 👑💖

Our girls absolutely OWNED the Confidence Challenge Walk! They walked with their heads held high, shoulders back, and confidence turned all the way UP! 🔥👏🏾

Each queen stepped forward, commanded the room, and showed us that confidence looks GOOD on HER! 💕✨

Week 2 of Lead Out Loud was all about First Impressions and Young Leaders Making a Difference! 👑✨📚

The girls learned about Claudette Colvin, who was only 15 years old when she refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus 🚌✊🏾, nine months before Rosa Parks. They also learned about Autumn Peltier, who began advocating for safe drinking water at just 12 years old 💧🌎🗣️

Our queens walked away with a powerful lesson: You do not have to wait until you are an adult to lead, speak up, or create change! 👏🏾💪🏾 Leadership has no age limit! 👑💖
