ATTENTION HHS ALUMNI! It has come to my attention that our Superintendent/School Board are intending on changing our school mascot/logo to include General Sullivan. Now I’m all about history and in no way believe that this part of Horseheads history should be hidden or erased. But General Sullivan led a massacre of the Iroquois People. Not something that should represent our HHS! I have no idea what a Blue Raider is…. But I have grown to like it. So show up to the next school board meeting which is a week from today June 16th not sure the time (I think 6pm) but I’ll update later. Each person of the public has 3 minutes to speak. Let’s speak up!
