Tomorrow (Saturday) is the day! Weather should still be in the 70’s by the time we finish up.

Come out and join GTH and other trail lovin’ community members!

Did you know National Trails Day is America's largest annual celebration of public trails? Since 1993, trail lovers have gathered on the first Saturday of June to give back to the places that keep us connected to nature.

In partnership with the Stanislaus National Forest, Groveland Ranger District, the Groveland Trail Heads invite you to celebrate by making a real impact right here at home.

Join us on June 6th from 9am to 12pm at the Ferretti Non-Motorized Trail System.

Come out and learn about sustainable trail building with a Walk and Talk hosted by GTH President Dwight Follien. Then, we will be putting that knowledge into action by trimming back overgrown vegetation on the Ridge Trail.

We've got you covered! Tools, snacks, and water are all provided. Just bring sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and your trail stoke.

What happens when a generous foundation and a dedicated community team up? New trails get built!

A huge thank you to the Sonora Area Foundation and the community members who stepped up to contribute alongside them during the "You Give > We Give" campaign.

Update on the 2026 Groveland Grind

Hi Friends. The team has been receiving some questions regarding the 2026 Groveland Grind. Due to circumstances out of our control, it is with heavy hearts that GTH made the decision a few weeks ago to cancel the 2026 Groveland Grind.

While the event is off, our mission is not. GTH remains fully committed to building a world-class destination trail system that will serve mountain bikers for generations.

The Groveland Grind isn’t just a ride to us. It’s the weekend where our community shines, our tires hit the dirt together, and we celebrate the rugged beauty of the mountains we’ve worked so hard to preserve.

This year’s Grind is happening May 30th, and we need your help to make it a success!

We’re looking for volunteers for various shifts throughout the weekend, including:

--Logistics: Setup and tear-down.
--Hospitality: Registration, snacks, and meal support.
--The Big One: We need an adventurous team to staff the legendary aid station at the top of Trumbull Peak.

At Groveland Trail Heads, every day is Earth Day. Our mission has always been to preserve the natural beauty of the Stanislaus National Forest while creating world-class experiences for every mountain biker.

This year’s theme, "Our Power, Our Planet," hits home. It reminds us that the "power" to protect our natural spaces doesn’t come from a boardroom—it comes from the hands of volunteers like YOU.

Dirt, sweat, and a whole lot of progress. Last week's rain brought the perfect conditions for trail building! The GTH team hit the forest hard on Sunday, making headway on Respirator.

Moving dirt is hard work, but building something sustainable that’s meant to last generations makes it all worth it.
