GYS is a program whose mission is to build strong physical and social skills for the kids through the sport of soccer. GYS provides young players in our community the opportunity to play and enjoy the game of soccer. By ensuring that they learn, compete, and have fun, players will learn valuable physical and social skills that will assist them in life on and off the field.

Registration is open for all levels of Groveland Youth Soccer for the upcoming Spring 2026 season. The first practices/games will likely be the weekend of April 11/12.

Registration closes on March 13th. Registration is still possible after that date but will incur a $20 late registration fee.

In Groveland this December, a contest takes flight,
With houses all twinkling in holiday light!
Voting starts on the 13th, the 14th we’ll close,
We’ll tally the votes, see who the voters’ votes chose

The winners will grin with their prizes in hand,
Vouchers for registration, vintage swag so grand!
And bragging rights too, a primo delight!
For the brightest, most festive display of the night.

So gather your garlands, your wreaths and your bow,

Thank you all for a great fall season! If you are interested in getting more involved with GYS, consider stopping by our November board meeting tonight - Monday, November 10th, 7:00pm at Pub97.

The agenda includes: season wrap up comments/suggestions and exploring skill building opportunities for the coaches and players.

This meeting is open to all, so feel free to bring a friend who has expressed interest in getting more involved. Hope to see you there!
