Have you ever painted with coffee?

Join us this Saturday for a unique and inspiring Coffee Painting Class with Karla Taylor of Butler, Alabama and discover how an ordinary cup of coffee can be transformed into beautiful works of art.

Join guest instructor Karla Taylor of Butler, Alabama, for a unique and creative Coffee Painting Workshop at the Grove Hill Cultural Arts Center! Using brewed coffee as your paint, you’ll learn how to create beautiful artwork with rich sepia tones, soft washes, and amazing depth.

This is a fun, relaxing class that is perfect for beginners as well as experienced artists looking to try something completely different. Best of all, you’ll create multiple pieces during the workshop and learn techniques you can continue using at home.

🎨 What a Night Under the Stars! 🎨✨

Our hearts are full after an incredible Art Under the Stars Fundraiser Gala this past Saturday evening!

Under a canopy of twinkling lights and towering trees, friends, supporters, artists, and community members gathered to celebrate the arts in a truly magical setting. Guests enjoyed live music, delicious refreshments, beautiful artwork, fellowship with friends, and an exciting silent auction—all while helping support the mission of the Grove Hill Cultural Arts Center.

We are deeply grateful for the wonderful turnout and the overwhelming support shown by our community. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate creativity, culture, and the future of the arts in Grove Hill was both inspiring and humbling.

A special thank you goes out to our volunteers, sponsors, artists, donors, musicians, and everyone who attended. Your generosity and enthusiasm made this event a tremendous success and will help us continue providing art classes, exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural opportunities throughout the year.

The evening was filled with laughter, conversation, music, and community spirit—everything we hoped it would be and more.

Thank you for believing in the arts and for helping us make Art Under the Stars such a memorable and meaningful event. We can’t wait to do it again!

🖌️ Using instant coffee as your medium, you’ll create beautiful, earthy-toned artwork full of depth, texture, and warmth — no experience needed!

🎨🦋 NEW MURAL UNVEILED IN GROVE HILL! 🦋🎨

We’re excited to share a brand-new addition to the Grove Hill Cultural Arts Center — our interactive butterfly wings mural is officially complete!

Stop by, stand in the center, and become the butterfly 🦋✨ — it’s the perfect photo opportunity for friends, families, and visitors to capture something fun and memorable right here in our community.

This piece was created with the hope of bringing a little more color, creativity, and joy to Grove Hill — and to give everyone a chance to engage with art in a hands-on (and picture-perfect!) way.

Whether you’re passing through or planning a visit, we invite you to come by, snap a photo, and experience it for yourself. While you’re here, step inside and see what else is happening at the Arts Center!
