- A line of strong to severe storms will move into the area late this evening and exit the area early Monday morning. Eastern portions of the area have been upgraded to an enhanced risk due to the potential of a few strong tornadoes.

- Windy conditions develop behind the front on Monday with Gale conditions expected offshore.

- A much colder airmass moves into the area for Monday and Tuesday with temperatures near of below freezing across portions of the area both Monday and Tuesday nights.

I have fail myself and the cancer fighters these past couple of years but I’m making my way back and the “Pam Pippen Cancer Support Group” is looking towards growth and doing great things. We welcome all donations, thoughts and prayers for cancer fighters.

3 families will travel today on Pilots for Christ sponsored flights. Dallas Taylor (photo pending), Karla Teel( photo pending), and their caregivers arrive at MD Anderson in Houston for updated testing and treatments. William Pate (photo pending) completed MDA biopsy in preparation for transitioning treatment to Mobile.
Please keep prayers for each of these for ease of travel and hopeful updates.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the triumphant transition of one of our Cancer group members. On Thursday we lost, Leslie “Lisa” Pugh. Lisa was full of life and a joy to be around with her funny jokes and sense of humor. We pray for her family as they prepare for her homegoing and navigating the rest of their journey without her. Funeral arrangements to be announced later. 🩷🙏🏼

It is with great sadness that we announce the transition of one of our warriors Jennifer Williams. Jen Jen was a fighter and believed God for her healing until the end. We ask for the fervent effectual prayers of the righteous for her husband, kids, grandkids, parents, siblings and entire family, friends and community. You fought a good fight you finished your course. We love you forever pink sister 💕💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼

Going through a cancer journey makes me have a special place in my heart for cancer patients and survivors. Tonight I have a special young lady and her family in my thoughts and prayers because she’s dealing with a second bout with cancer. I’ve ask my church family to remember her in prayer as well as added her name to our prayer list. When you go before the Lord remember the initials JJW and family. We know the fervent effectual prayers of the righteous availeth much💗💗💗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

The CCHS Bulldogs kick off the 2024 season tonight at H.G. Prim Stadium against the Southern Choctaw Indians. We look forward to seeing BULLDOG NATION tonight. Tickets are available for advance purchase through GoFan or cash will be accepted at the gate.
